From the the drums of the Woodford Folk Festival, to the city life of London and the ski fields of New Zealand, my travels around Australia and the world have inspired me no end.
In Longreach, on the edge of the blacksoil downs, my husband and four small children thrive in a warm and loving house where pets, play and creativity rule. I use my art to express my creativity and apply it to everything I do.
My Art has taken me on a journey of self exploration, questioning who I was, to acceptance and now focusing on the world around me. Motherhood has enhanced my innate connection to nature and I find wonder in the smallest details like the pattern on a blowfly’s wing.
Originally trained in printmaking, which is the foundation of my career, my multifaceted life points me to a variety of disciplines and my recent works are watercolour and mosaic. I love this diversity and hope to combine my current skills with new to extend my repertoire as I travel new paths on my creative journey.
